Some of the most remarkable work achieved by Shaking Up Shakespeare over the years has been during the “Play in a week” Project.
The idea is to create (mostly through improvisation) in a few days a unique interpretation of one of Shakespeare’s plays. What often happens is that it becomes much more than that as the children discover inner strength as we all learn to trust each other talents, so we can turn in a performance by Friday night.
